\n\t\u201cSouth Park<\/a>\u201d \u2014 or rather \u201cSouth America\u201d<\/a> \u2014 made its Season 29 debut Wednesday night and wasted no time introducing audiences to the newly named town.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe episode, titled \u201cSouth American Biker Gangs,\u201d kicked off with an updated theme song ringing in the name change \u2014 \u201cI\u2019m goin\u2019 down to South America, have myself a time!\u201d \u2014 before showing another new addition: a Donald Trump cameo.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe premiere episode centered around the usual suspects, Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny, and their newfound love of e-bikes. But when the gaggle of kids takes to the streets with their motorized bikes, the parents of South America form their own biker gang in opposition.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs per usual, Kenny dies when his e-bike blows up, and his death unites the town to come together, outlaw e-bikes and begin selling \u201cSouth America Strong\u201d T-shirts.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this month, ahead of the Season 29 premiere, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone announced that the long-running comedy series would furthermore be known as \u201cSouth America,\u201d a comedic jab at Trump\u2019s recent moves to rename the likes of Lake Ontario as Lake America, New Mexico as New America and the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cInspired by the bravery and patriotism of Apple and Google, we are changing the name of \u2018South Park\u2019 to \u2018South America,\u2019\u201d the pair shared in a statement. \u201cWe especially want to thank our parent company Paramount \u2014 a Skydance Capitulation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show took home the gold for outstanding animated program at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys, and while celebrating the win, threw another dig at Trump by sharing a graphic of the president with his pants and underwear around his ankles<\/a> to the official \u201cSouth Park\u201d X account.<\/p>\n
