And while its ability to play Minecraft is somewhat impressive, it\u2019s small potatoes compared to the alarm bells being rung by former staff at Anthropic.<\/p>\n On September 8, one of the company\u2019s former lead researchers announced his resignation online \u2014 along with a chilling warning to everyone<\/a> about the future of AI, claiming these models will \u201csoon be superhuman systems that can hack anything, revolutionize any field overnight, and acquire real power and resources.\u201d<\/p>\n US President Donald Trump, however, is of the opinion that these warnings are a \u201choax,\u201d<\/a> and called AI the \u201coil of the next 20-25 years.\u201d For now, at least, it’s having a hard time playing Minecraft.
