The Central Buckeye Conference held its girls\u2019 golf championship Tuesday at Locust Hills Golf Course in Springfield, with area teams competing for conference honors and postseason recognition.<\/p>\n
CBC Conference Tournament
\nBenjamin Logan \u2014 3rd, Mad River Division (389)<\/p>\n
The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders finished third in the CBC Mad River Division with a team score of 389.<\/p>\n
Catherine Bramlage led the Raiders with a 92, followed by Leah Braddock with a 94. Sophia \u201cRiver\u201d VanVoorhis carded a 101, while Kaylynn Crumm finished with a 102.<\/p>\n
Annika Schmidt shot a 122, and Montana Coleman added a 124.<\/p>\n
Several Benjamin Logan golfers also earned CBC postseason honors. Bramlage, Braddock, and Crumm were named to the CBC Second Team, while VanVoorhis received Honorable Mention honors.<\/p>\n
Braddock was also presented with the CBC Sportsmanship Award.<\/p>\n
The Raiders finished the regular season with a 9-7 record and will return to action next Wednesday at the sectional tournament at Stillwater Golf Course.<\/p>\n
Bellefontaine \u2014 3rd Overall (412)<\/p>\n
The Bellefontaine Lady Chieftains finished third overall at the CBC Tournament with a team score of 412.<\/p>\n
Olivia Dearwester led the Lady Chiefs with a 95. Paxton Stewart and Lola Kuba each shot 105, while Ella Fultz finished with a 107.<\/p>\n
Eden Smith carded a 112, and Allison Myers rounded out the Bellefontaine lineup with a 115.<\/p>\n
Bellefontaine also collected several individual conference honors. Stewart and Fultz were both named CBC Honorable Mention, while Dearwester earned a spot on the CBC Second Team.<\/p>\n
Fultz was also recognized with the CBC Sportsmanship Award for Bellefontaine.<\/p>\n
The Lady Chieftains\u2019 third-place finish capped a successful season for the program, while the individual honors added further recognition for several of Bellefontaine\u2019s golfers.<\/p>\n
Indian Lake \u2014 4th Overall (410)<\/p>\n
The Indian Lake Lady Lakers finished fourth overall at the CBC Tournament with a team score of 410.<\/p>\n
Chloe Borgerding led Indian Lake with a 97, followed by Adriana Andrus with a 99.<\/p>\n
The Lakers also had several golfers receive conference honors. Andrus was named to the CBC First Team, while Lily Michael and Borgerding earned Second Team honors.<\/p>\n
Lillian Strauser received the CBC Sportsmanship Award for Indian Lake.<\/p>\n
The Lady Lakers will return to action Thursday afternoon with a match at Stillwater Golf Course.
