Even older models from the iPhone 17 and 16 series weren\u2019t spared <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/apple_raises_prices_of_the_iphone_17_series_iphone_air_and_iphone_16-news-74551.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the $100 price hike<\/a>. Unfortunately, this isn\u2019t the end of it and new reports claim that Apple will raise prices again next year.<\/p>\n<p>A couple of days ago, Korean publications reported that Samsung is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_will_reportedly_raise_dram_and_nand_prices_for_smartphone_makers-news-74628.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">renegotiating DRAM and NAND prices<\/a> with smartphone manufacturers, including Apple. It seems that Samsung and Apple have now reached an agreement on the new prices.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"530\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1789666930_322_gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"Apple may do another price hike as it reportedly accepts Samsung's higher memory prices for next year\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Apple will reportedly pay close to $2.00 per gigabit of LPDDR5X RAM and $0.33 per gigabit of NAND storage starting in Q1 2027. For comparison, Samsung\u2019s prices in Q3 2026 were $1.50 and $0.26, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Apple wasn\u2019t the only smartphone maker that Samsung asked back to the negotiating table. Interestingly, however, Oppo and vivo reportedly refused to accept the higher prices that Samsung was asking.
