So obviously after I was a bit annoyed with myself, leaving that one out to the right, make it double, so it was nice to finish that way.

MORE LUDVIG ABERG STORIES

“Definitely, obviously 17, 18 were par 5s, but you still have to hit shots, they’re difficult par 5s. I’m definitely pleased with that.“

The 6ft 3in Swede was asked whether he found the conditions challenging at Wentworth on Thursday.

“Yeah, definitely,“ he replied.

“I thought it was difficult. Obviously the wind was a big factor today, it was swirling.

“You’re meant to have the west wind coming this way and you can’t feel it going this way, so it definitely increases the difficulty level a little bit, but I felt like we managed it really well today and yeah, happy with the finish for sure.“

With more blustery conditions expected throughout the week at Wentworth, Ludvig Aberg and his fellow competitors should expect a tough final 54 holes.

Join Our Newsletter

Receive exclusive football transfer news and updates twice a week to your mailbox

      Add to Preferred Sources

Follow us on Google Discover Ludvig Aberg got off to a fine start at Wentworth on Thursday, shooting…

[71
26271,427,93886,99
post-851837","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-golf","tag-bmw-pga-championship","tag-golf","tag-ludvig-aberg","tag-sports
["GET
