A Yahoo spokesperson said in the report: \u201cWe had a previous partnership with Polymarket to display relevant prediction market data across Yahoo Finance. That specific agreement ended, but Polymarket continues to be an advertising partner across Yahoo,<\/a> and we\u2019re open to similar types of partnership.<\/p>\n

Polymarket did not comment in the Bloomberg report and did not immediately reply to PYMNTS\u2019 request for comment.<\/p>\n

Polymarket announced in a November 2025 post on social platform X that it had become the exclusive prediction market partner<\/a> for Yahoo Finance. The company said it would power a prediction markets hub on Yahoo Finance that would display probability data from Polymarket for economic, government, and market outcomes and pair this with related news, quotes and analysis from Yahoo Finance and its partners.<\/p>\n

According to Friday\u2019s Bloomberg report, that hub was taken down in April.<\/p>\n

Polymarket has announced several other partnerships this year.<\/p>\n

In January, Polymarket said it formed an exclusive partnership with Dow Jones<\/a>, a division of News Corp.<\/a>, that would see real-time prediction market data<\/a> featured on The Wall Street Journal<\/a>, Barron\u2019s<\/a>, MarketWatch<\/a>, Investor\u2019s Business Daily<\/a> and other Dow Jones consumer platforms.<\/p>\n

In March, Polymarket signed a new agreement with Major League Baseball<\/a> that made it the league\u2019s official prediction markets exchange<\/a>. The agreement gives Polymarket and its brokers access to MLB marks and logos to be used within their prediction market products, and to official data from Sportsradar<\/a>, MLB\u2019s global distributor of data for prediction markets.<\/p>\n

In August, Polymarket said it expanded its relationship with Sportsradar<\/a>, extending Sportsradar\u2019s sports data, streaming and integrity services to Polymarket across more than 20 sports leagues and competitions representing approximately 300,000 matches per year.<\/p>\n

It was reported in April that Wall Street broker Bernstein<\/a> expects prediction market volumes<\/a> to hit $1 trillion by 2030. The company\u2019s findings said this milestone will happen as the industry moves from niche bets to a larger \u201cinformation market\u201d that covers sports, cryptocurrency, politics and the economy.<\/p>\n
