Scene clears after police seen searching near Route 28 in Epsom<\/p>\n

There was a large presence of law enforcement near Route 28 in Epsom on Friday night.<\/p>\n

A News 9 crew on scene saw multiple police cruisers from different agencies, such as Epsom, Pembroke, and New Hampshire State Police. <\/p>\n

Some law enforcement members seemed to be focused on the plaza right off Route 28, Epsom Shoppes.<\/p>\n

One store owner watched as a flurry of police cruisers came down the road around 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

“All of a sudden, state troopers just come running all the way to the end of the plaza. Everybody was curious and we really don’t know what’s going on,” said Mike Suliman, owner of Epsom House of Pizza. <\/p>\n

As of about 10:15 p.m., the scene began to clear up.<\/p>\n

News 9 tried to speak to Epsom police, but was told by officers that nothing could be said, and information can be expected on Monday.<\/p>\n

News 9 asked law enforcement about the circumstances of the police presence, whether there is a threat to the public, and what type of assets were utilized.<\/p>\n
