Saturday, however, some the competitive juices really got going, in the form of a full scrimmage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, not quite full \u2014 20 forwards, 12 defensemen and four goalies participated, leaving 21 camp attendees to skate on the secondary rink, far away from the throng of fans that got up early on a Saturday morning to watch the proceedings. But all of the NHL roster locks had their names called for the scrimmage, as did everyone who at least qualified as being on the distant outskirts of the bubble. Given the truncated nature of this year\u2019s training camp, the Flyers coaches didn\u2019t want to waste time on players with no chance of getting NHL action.
