WASHINGTON, Pa. \u2014 Washington County officials are asking the public to submit damage reports amid flooding and the chance of more rainfall.<\/p>\n
>>> PHOTOS: Steady rain leaves local areas flooded <<<<\/a><\/p>\n Just before 5 p.m. Sunday, Washington County Emergency Services issued a release, urging residents and businesses whose structures or property were damaged to report it through their online system.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Most of the county was experiencing some level of flooding, officials say, and tracking damage in real time is critical, particularly ahead of more potential rain.<\/p>\n RELATED COVERAGE >>> Canton Township declares state of emergency in response to flooding<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWe are continuing to see the impacts of severe weather across the county, and with more rain possible, it is critical that we receive information as quickly as possible,\u201d said Deputy Director of Washington County Emergency Management Dan Harvey. \u201cEvery report helps us understand the scope of the damage and determine what resources and assistance may be needed.\u201d<\/p>\n Municipalities are also told to report storm impacts, including any disaster or emergency declarations, to emergency management. <\/p>\n RELATED COVERAGE >>> Washington mayor stresses drains were working during floods caused by record rainfall<\/a><\/p>\n Click here<\/a> to submit a damage report.
