The suspect, who was identified as a 45-year-old man from Milwaukee, ran from the scene and shot at officers as they responded to the area, hitting a squad car, according to police. That was a block over at 53rd and 24th.<\/p>\n
Two officers returned fire and hit the suspect, according to police. He was taken into custody and is stable.<\/p>\n
Police said no officers “received significant physical injuries during the incident.”<\/p>\n
There are two separate investigations. The Kenosha Police Department is investigating the bar shooting. The Kenosha Racine Area Investigative Team is investigating the shooting involving the two, with the Racine County Sheriff’s Office leading. <\/p>\n
