Any hopes that the Chargers\u2019 loss to the Cardinals was just a Week 1 aberration were dashed at SoFi Stadium on Sunday. <\/p>\n

The Raiders scored the final 16 points of the game to take a 26-14 win over their division rivals and move to 2-0 on the season. The Chargers are 0-2 after two games many pegged as easy wins for the team heading into the season. <\/p>\n

Both sides of the ball have contributed to both of the losses and safety Derwin James said the first step to turning things around is being honest about just how bad the first two weeks have gone. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe got to look each other<\/a> in the eye, man, and just tell the truth and just get better,\u201d James said in the locker room. \u201cBecause right now that s\u2014t just looks trash. . . . I\u2019m angry, but being angry don\u2019t fix anything. Being angry don\u2019t fix the problem that we have. We have to get it fixed. I feel like we\u2019re a couple of plays away. It ain\u2019t like we\u2019re getting blown out. But we have to win these games, there\u2019s no reason we\u2019re going out there playing like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Cardinals also beat the Chargers 26-14 and it\u2019s difficult to make the argument that it\u2019s just a couple of plays deciding things when you\u2019re losing by double digits at home. Whatever the case, the Chargers don\u2019t have much time to make the necessary connections.
