Jerry Jones had a little extra pep in his step on Sunday as he met with reporters following the Dallas Cowboys\u2019 37-20 win over the Washington Commanders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The billionaire NFL team owner met the media with a “dangerous” warning.<\/p>\n

“Nothing more dangerous than an old man with money,” he said, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram<\/a>. “That\u2019s my quote of the day.”<\/p>\n

Ain\u2019t that the truth. One could only wonder if the NFL didn\u2019t have a salary cap and how far Jones would be willing to go to get back to the glory days of winning three Super Bowl titles in four years.<\/p>\n

We may never know. But here\u2019s to trying.<\/p>\n

The Cowboys looked good after an off performance against the New York Giants in Week 1. Dak Prescott<\/a> had four touchdown passes in the win and surpassed Tony Romo as the franchise leader in touchdown passes. Prescott has 249 in 11 years with the Cowboys \u2013 one more than Romo.<\/p>\n

Jones admitted it would have been “hard” to talk to the press if the team started 0-2.<\/p>\n

“I really was worried about what it was going to be like if we did end up 0-2,” he said, via the team\u2019s website<\/a>. “I can’t say that I was a color of strength in my mentality coming into the game because I’ve got a lot of respect for the coaching over on the Washington Commanders side.<\/p>\n

“Having said all of that, this was a very important win for us, important to these guys who put the work in, the coaching staff, for Brian (Schottenheimer), and I’m really proud of them.”<\/p>\n

Dallas will head to Brazil on Sunday for a Week 3 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.<\/p>\n
