Samsung is keeping the One UI 9 Watch beta<\/a> moving, with new builds now rolling out to both the Galaxy Watch 7<\/a> and Galaxy Watch 8<\/a> series in South Korea, according to @Kailash0729 on X<\/a>. Both updates share the same ZZI4 build ending. They focus mainly on fixing bugs and improving stability. Rather than adding another batch of features, Samsung chose to focus on fixes.<\/p>\n

Galaxy Watch 7 gets One UI 9 Watch Beta 2<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Watch 7 update<\/a> comes with firmware L310XXU2ZZI4\/L310OXM2ZZI4 and weighs around 228.26MB. Samsung has also included the September 5, 2026 security patch.<\/p>\n

The changelog is fairly short, but it addresses several annoying problems. Samsung says it has applied additional stabilization code for general device operation. Additionally, they fixed an error affecting watch faces while Always On Display is active. There\u2019s also a fix for incorrect AOD time data. Furthermore, there are fixes for bugs affecting Now Bar, Compass, and the Weather app.<\/p>\n

Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic owners are getting essentially the same round of fixes with One UI 9 Watch Beta 3. The new build carries Watch 8 Classic\u2019s firmware<\/a> L500XXU2ZZI4\/L500OXM2ZZI4. It is slightly larger at 243.76MB. It also includes the September 5 security patch.<\/p>\n

The changelog mirrors the Watch 7 release: improved overall stability, fixes for Watch Face AOD and AOD time data, and corrections for Now Bar, Compass, and Weather-related issues. Samsung\u2019s previous Watch 8 beta already focused heavily on stability. That included Health, watch face, and Always On Display fixes. So the company is clearly in the polishing stage now.<\/p>\n

There don\u2019t appear to be any major new One UI 9 Watch features hidden inside these builds, but that isn\u2019t necessarily a bad thing. At this point in beta testing, fewer flashy additions and more bug fixes are a good sign. Usually this means Samsung is getting closer to software it can actually ship broadly.<\/p>\n

For now, these latest releases are available to enrolled beta testers in Korea. If you\u2019re already participating in the US, you can check for the update through the Galaxy Wearable app > Watch settings > Watch software update.\u00a0<\/p>\n
