Tom Cruise revealed that he has directors read scripts to him when he\u2019s considering whether to take on a new project.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat I do with directors and writers is, I don\u2019t read the scripts. I have them read it to me,\u201d Cruise, 64, said during an appearance on Jason and Travis Kelce\u2019s \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast<\/a> Sept. 18.<\/p>\n \u201cI have them read it to me because I don\u2019t want my ideas to invade it yet. I want to understand: What is their communication? They\u2019ve been working on it, and they have things that are just there,\u201d he explained, gesturing toward his head.<\/p>\n Tom Cruise (pictured above on \u201cNew Heights\u201d) revealed to Jason and Travis Kelce that he has directors read scripts to him rather than reading them himself.
