After releasing iOS 27<\/a> last week, Apple is already testing a follow-up iOS 27.0.1 update for iPhones, according to MacRumors logs.<\/p>\n

iOS 27.0.1 will likely be a minor update with bug fixes and\/or security patches.<\/p>\n

Shortly after Apple launches new iPhone models, some software bugs are usually discovered as the devices get into the hands of millions of customers around the world. This year, some iPhone 18 Pro users are experiencing Face ID issues<\/a>, so it is likely that iOS 27.0.1 will include some Face ID-related bug fixes or enhancements at a minimum.<\/p>\n

watchOS 27.0.1 is already available<\/a> for the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. That update fixes an issue where those models may restart unexpectedly.<\/p>\n

We do not know exactly when iOS 27.0.1 will be released to the public, but keep an eye out for the update over the next few days or weeks.<\/p>\n
