CBS Mornings sent Taylor Swift fans into overdrive after dropping a cryptic “tune in t0m0rr0w” teaser. The morning show used zeros instead of letters, immediately recalling Swift’s upcoming single, “Patient Zero.”

The Grammy winner had already confirmed the song would arrive September 25. However, the CBS update did not explain what viewers should expect. That silence only fueled speculation, with one fan demanding, “WHAT DO YOU KNOW,” as others prepared for an early wake-up.

CBS Mornings teases Taylor Swift ‘Patient Zero’ segment in new update

CBS Mornings posted the mysterious update on Instagram with a simple heart emoji in its caption. The graphic read, “tune in t0m0rr0w,” against the program’s familiar dark backdrop. Notably, the zeros appeared where the letter “o” would normally sit. That styling appeared to nod toward Taylor Swift’s “Patient Zero” title. Still, the post did not reveal what the segment would contain. One Swiftie immediately wrote, “WHAT DO YOU KNOW.” Meanwhile, another joked, “Ok fine I’ll skip work.”

Swift had already confirmed that “Patient Zero” would arrive on September 25. In her announcement, she wrote, “I’ve been impatiently waiting to tell you” about the new single before confirming its release date. The song follows “I Knew It I Knew You,” which Swift released earlier in 2026 for Toy Story 5. Fans had also been decoding clues surrounding her recent announcements, including speculation about new music and a possible MTV VMAs appearance.

Naturally, the CBS Mornings teaser pushed those theories even further. One fan wrote, “I’m shaking if she goes on tour I’ll sell my car to pay for it.” Another admitted, “my heart can’t take this any longer.” A third Swiftie declared, “Waking up earrrrllyyyyyy.” Meanwhile, another pleaded, “Girl if you don’t tell us what time rn.” The reactions showed how little information CBS needed to restart the guessing game. For now, the connection to “Patient Zero” remained a tease rather than a confirmed reveal.
