The <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/innovation-and-ai\/models-and-research\/gemini-models\/gemini-3-8-live-with-live-avatar\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cLive Avatar\u201d will lip-sync<\/a> and show different facial expressions during conversations, but it\u2019s currently only available to Gemini Enterprise customers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">As noted by Google, Live Avatar can transition between the 97 languages it supports \u201cwithout degrading video fidelity or introducing visual drift.\u201d One video shared by Google shows its Live Avatar talking in English and Japanese, with its mouth animation lining up with what it\u2019s saying in both languages. It can also pull up information on-screen while it talks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">The launch of Live Avatar comes about a week after Google <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/innovation-and-ai\/models-and-research\/gemini-models\/gemini-3-8-live-gemini-3-8-live-extended-thinking\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">revealed its new Gemini 3.8 Live model<\/a>, which the company says \u201cprocesses visual inputs in near real-time.\u201d Though Google will offer a library of preset avatars for customers to choose from, it will also allow organizations to create their own.
