From Dollywood to Dannywood?<\/p>\n
After Dolly Parton\u2019s longtime manager, Danny Nozell, filed a lawsuit against her nephew<\/a>, alleging he tried to extort money and made deadly threats, insiders tell Page Six they fear that Nozell may have ulterior motives for the court action.<\/p>\n \u201cHe wants the family out of the picture, and wants to turn her house into Graceland,\u201d a source alleged to Page Six.<\/p>\n The insider said that Nozell and Parton made a good business team, but she was the moral compass. <\/p>\n \u201cDanny doesn\u2019t have the heart that Dolly did,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n Dolly Parton\u2019s longtime manager Danny Nozell, seen above with Parton, is in a legal battle with her nephew. Dolly Parton\/Instagram<\/p>\n Nozell\u2019s bombshell lawsuit after Parton\u2019s nephew and longtime head of security, Bryan Seaver, lifted the veil on Dolly\u2019s apparently peaceful business affair. <\/p>\n Seaver, who announced Dolly\u2019s death in August<\/a>, was fired from his security post<\/a> at the country legend\u2019s estate last week. New security teams were immediately put in place at Parton\u2019s main home in Nashville, Tennessee, and other properties, including her downtown residence, museum and warehouse, according to TMZ.<\/p>\n Seaver told the outlet he and his team were \u201cdismayed by the unexpected and, so far, unexplained actions,\u201d the estate has taken since the \u201cJolene\u201d singer died.<\/p>\n \u201cWe remain unshakably resolved to fulfill [Parton\u2019s] final directive to protect her family, and we refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Nozell (seen with Dolly in the middle above) alleges Parton\u2019s nephew is trying to extort him for money. Rick Diamond<\/p>\n Seaver, seen here, worked as Parton\u2019s Head of Security for more than two decades. bryan seaver\/ instagram<\/p>\n Things took an even nastier turn earlier this week when Nozell filed the suit, seeking a restraining order against Seaver. <\/p>\n It claims Seaver is trying to extort him and had been threatening him for weeks<\/a> before Parton\u2019s death. He accuses Seaver of \u201cinvoking his self-proclaimed military-contractor experience, access to weapons, and capacity of violence.\u201d<\/p>\n The docs includes messages from Seaver, allegedly threatening, \u201cAll I do is warfare\u2026 everyone needs to be worried what I might do.\u201d<\/p>\n Another reads: \u201cHer money better be bigger than I can make elsewhere or I\u2019m going to f\u2013k everyone. I am about to become the hand of retribution for my entire family.\u201d<\/p>\n Dolly\u2019s sister, Freida Parton, came to her nephew\u2019s defense on Wednesday. Getty Images<\/p>\n Seaver defended his messages <\/a>to TMZ, telling the outlet, \u201cNothing in this lawsuit were threats and most of the comments I stand by.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was talking frankly in a private way with Danny who I thought was my friend and he fancies himself a gangster,\u201d he further explained. \u201cA lot of these messages are two guys having rage talk and crying on the phone together while we were grieving.\u201d<\/p>\n Dolly\u2019s sisters Freida and Stella Parton seemingly came to their nephews\u2019 defense this week. Freida posted a social media message<\/a>, where she explained, \u201cNo one among the Parton\/Owens family is fighting over Dolly\u2019s estate.
