POLK COUNTY \u2014 Spectrum marked a major milestone in Polk County by expanding internet services to over 10,000 homes and businesses.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s part of Spectrum\u2019s multi-year rural construction initiative. This investment will add over 100,000 miles of fiber-optic network infrastructure and deliver multi-gigabit speed internet to over 1.7 million new locations in the country.<\/p>\n

As part of the celebration, Spectrum donated $50,000 to the Beyond the Build Digital Education Grant to Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay which supports immersive financial and career readiness education for approximately 25,000 students each year across Polk, Hardee and Highlands counties.<\/p>\n
