The Gators open up as favorites due to having one of the most electrifying offenses in the country. Averaging 54 points per game and the third-most yards per game in the country, led by Heisman candidate Jaden Baugh.<\/p>\n

Ole Miss is coming off a huge win against former coach Lane Kiffin and LSU. Heisman frontman Trinidad Chambliss completed 33 of 48 passes throwing for 363 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Tigers. Chambliss will be looking at a Gators secondary that allows 231.7 passing yards per game.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Both teams faced off last year in Mississippi and the Rebels came out on top 34-24. However, the last time the Rebels walked into The Swamp, they fell out of playoff contention. The Gators defeated No. 9 Ole Miss 24-17 in 2024, and look to do the same damage in 2026.<\/p>\n
