Arvest Bank has announced the bank\u2019s 30th Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised $18,000 to benefit three area nonprofit organizations.<\/p>\n
As it has in previous years, Arvest associates helped select nonprofit organizations across Boone, Baxter and Marion counties to benefit from the golf tournament, which took place Aug. 22 at the Twin Lakes Golf Club in Mountain Home. This year, Spectrum Connection of Arkansas in Baxter County, the Mid-Marion County Rotary Club in Marion County and the Burlsworth Foundation in Boone County each received $6,000 from proceeds raised from the event.<\/p>\n
In its 30-year history, the Arvest Charity Golf Tournament has raised more than $317,000 for local nonprofits in Boone, Baxter and Marion counties.<\/p>\n
