Center N\u2019Faly Dante<\/a> has signed an Exhibit 10<\/a> contract with the Knicks, the team announced (via Twitter<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Dante spent part of last season with Atlanta before suffering a torn ACL<\/a> in his right knee during a December G League game and being waived<\/a> in February. He appeared in four games with the Hawks last season and four more with the Rockets as a rookie in 2024\/25.<\/p>\n

The Knicks also confirmed a recent report<\/a> that they signed<\/a> Jaden Akins<\/a> to an Exhibit 10 deal and subsequently waived<\/a> him. The 23-year-old guard spent last season in the G League with the Motor City Cruise.<\/p>\n

The Exhibit 10 deals make both players eligible for bonuses worth up to $91K if they spend at least 60 days with New York\u2019s G League affiliate after being waived. Those contracts can also be converted to two-way deals, and the Knicks currently have all three of their two-way slots open.<\/p>\n

In other minor transactions:<\/p>\n

The Grizzlies waived Kira Lewis Jr.<\/a>, who signed with the team<\/a> Saturday afternoon, and replaced him with Lawson Lovering<\/a> (Twitter link<\/a>). The 23-year-old center played for the Memphis Hustle in the G League last season and appeared in two NBA games with the Grizzlies on a 10-day contract in February. Memphis has made a series of roster moves<\/a> over the past two days in preparation for training camp.
\nThe Hornets announced<\/a> the signing of\u00a0Jarkel Joiner<\/a>, who they waived<\/a> in early September. The 27-year-old point guard, who played for Raptors 905 last season, takes over the roster spot that was vacated when Charlotte waived<\/a> Ryan Nembhard<\/a>.
\nThe Clippers have signed Hunter Sallis<\/a> and Jason Preston<\/a>, tweets<\/a> Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot. Sallis played for the team\u2019s G League affiliate in San Diego last season after appearing in seven games with Philadelphia on a two-way contract.
