\n\tLos Angeles-based girl group Katseye<\/a> debuted on Saturday Night Live<\/a> with performances of two songs from their new EP<\/a>, Wild.<\/p>\n \n\tFour members of the six-person group were on stage Saturday for Animal<\/a> and Hootie Frutti<\/a>, as Manon Bannerman<\/a> and Sophia Laforteza<\/a> have been on hiatus. Wild, released in August, also features\u00a0\u201cPinky Up,\u201d\u00a0\u201cBel Air,\u201d\u00a0and \u201cThat Way.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n\tKatseye, who made an\u00a0American Music Awards appearance<\/a> in May after debuting at Coachella<\/a> the month prior, formed just two years ago as a result of the talent competition show Dream Academy.<\/p>\n \n\tKelly Rowland of Destiny\u2019s Child told Rolling Stone<\/a> recently that the group may face a lot of pressure due to their rapid ascent.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIn an industry as\u00a0fast-paced\u00a0as music, where there are\u00a0constantly\u00a0eyes on you and pressure to keep rising, your health is one of the most sacred things you have,\u201d Rowland said. \u201cI learned during my time in Destiny\u2019s Child that you can show up for your fans and your group while still honoring what you need as an individual.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n\tRowland added: \u201cMy advice to the Katseye girls would be to listen to themselves, be kind to\u00a0themselves,\u00a0and continue supporting one another through every season. Especially on tour,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0so important to intentionally carve out time to rest and reset in their daily routines.
