Actress Monet Mazur scared off a trio of masked burglary suspects after spotting them on security cameras trying to break into her Hollywood Hills home<\/a> late Saturday.<\/p>\n

At least three people dressed in black clothing and sporting ski masks reportedly approached Mazur\u2019s hillside residence<\/a> at around\u00a011:30 p.m. while the actress was inside with her dog.<\/p>\n

Mazur spotted the suspects on her security cameras and confronted them, prompting the group to flee before they could get inside the home.<\/p>\n

The suspects reportedly took off from the property after realizing the house was occupied.<\/p>\n

LAPD responded to the Hollywood Hills residence and searched the surrounding area, including by helicopter, but no suspects were found.<\/p>\n

A police helicopter can also be seen searching the surrounding hillside. Pepper spray was visible on the doormat outside the residence following the attempted burglary.<\/p>\n

Mazur\u2019s home is a two-bedroom property, worth around $1.5 million perched in the Hollywood Hills with views overlooking LA, according to property information provided for the incident.<\/p>\n

The attempted break-in comes amid continued concerns over residential burglaries in Los Angeles<\/a>, particularly in affluent hillside neighborhoods where homes can offer sweeping views while remaining tucked away from major streets.<\/p>\n

Mazur, 50, is an actress, model and former musician who has worked in Hollywood since the early 1990s.<\/p>\n

She is best known for playing\u00a0Laura Fine-Baker\u00a0on The CW\u2019s football drama\u00a0\u201cAll American.\u201d Her other acting credits include\u00a0\u201cBlow,\u201d\u00a0\u201cTorque,\u201d\u00a0\u201cMonster-in-Law,\u201d\u00a0\u201c40 Days and 40 Nights\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cThe House Bunny.\u201d<\/p>\n

She has also appeared in television shows including\u00a0\u201cCastle,\u201d\u00a0\u201cCSI: Miami\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cNCIS: Los Angeles,\u201d and worked as a producer on\u00a0\u201cSnatch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mazur began her career as a model, including work for brands such as Gap, before moving into film and television.<\/p>\n

She is the daughter of artist Ruby Mazur and has also appeared in music videos during her career. The actress has continued working in entertainment while also serving on the board of Watts Community Core.<\/p>\n

LAPD Hollywood handled the response to Saturday night\u2019s attempted break-in. No arrests had been reported in connection with the incident as of Sunday.<\/p>\n
