\n\tAfter its surprising announcement in May naming Jisoo<\/a> as a global ambassador, Salomon<\/a>\u2019s first campaign starring the Blackpink member is finally here.<\/p>\n

\n\tSet in South Korea, the new \u201cIn The Open\u201d campaign aims to \u201cexplore the relationship between urban life and the natural world through environments inspired by places Jisoo<\/a> naturally gravitates towards, from parks and trails to quieter moments within Seoul,\u201d the French mountain sports brand said on Monday.<\/p>\n

\n\tHeikki Salonen, who was named creative director of Salomon<\/a> in January, noted in a statement that the goal of the new campaign was to show winter across the different environments people experience every day, from the city to the outdoors.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThat\u2019s something Salomon has always excelled at, creating products that perform across changing conditions without compromising on design,\u201d Salonen added. \u201cSeoul provided a meaningful canvas to explore this narrative, grounding the collection in settings that resonate with Jisoo\u2019s life and demonstrating the fluidity with how she navigates these diverse landscapes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFor her part, the Blackpink star noted that it was \u201ca pleasure\u201d to experience and explore the winter season collection through her first global campaign<\/a> with Salomon.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI naturally prefer light and comfortable movement in my everyday life, so I feel that Salomon is a great fit for me because it provides comfort regardless of the weather or environment,\u201d Jisoo said. \u201cI love how versatile Salomon footwear is, making it suitable for both everyday wear and outdoor activities.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThroughout the campaign, Jisoo can be seen wearing Salomon\u2019s newest shoe styles<\/a> from the fall\/winter 2026 season including the XT-6 Protective, XT-Whisper Gore-Tex and XT-4 OG Gore-Tex.<\/p>\n

\n\tLooking closer, the XT-6 Protective pushes the familiar Salomon silhouette into a more rugged direction through the use of a ripstop construction and textured TPU detailing. Next, the XT-Whisper Gore-Tex marks the first time Salomon\u2019s XT-Whisper is offered with Gore-Tex protection, bringing all-weather functionality to one of the brand\u2019s most recognized silhouettes. Finally, the XT-4 OG Gore-Tex revisits a Salomon archive icon, pairing its trail-running heritage with Gore-Tex protection.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Salomon fall\/winter 2026 capsule will be available globally on Salomon.com beginning Oct. 7.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis marks the first project between Salomon and Jisoo since announcing the brand ambassadorship in May. At the time, Salomon noted that the partnership \u201cmarked the beginning of a broader long-term relationship, with future creative projects and collaborations to be revealed over time.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to Launchmetrics data shortly after the initial reveal, the announcement generated $2.2 million in media impact value within one week. The announcement also boosted the brand\u2019s overall performance<\/a> nearly sevenfold on the day it was made, Launchmetrics reported.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrior to working with Salomon, Jisoo had a successful partnership with Alo. In October, just seven months before her switch over to the French mountain sports brand, the K-pop star launched an exclusive take on Alo\u2019s Sunset sneaker<\/a> in her signature \u201cBloom Pink\u201d shade.<\/p>\n

\n\tJisoo was first tapped by the fashion wellness brand at the top of 2024 as the face of its spring 2024 collection. She was featured in an array of Alo looks in core styles and spring color drops. In her second campaign with Alo a few months later, the brand followed Jisoo through a weekend wellness escape in Los Angeles as she took time for movement and restoration rituals like matcha, meditation and workouts.<\/p>\n

\n\tNow, in addition to Salomon, Jisoo also serves as a global ambassador for Dior, Cartier, Tommy Hilfiger, Self-Portrait and more.<\/p>\n
