\n\tMiley<\/a> earns her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200<\/a> chart in more than a decade as Bass Persuades debuts atop the list dated Oct. 3. It launches with 61,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending Sept. 24, according to Luminate. In total, it\u2019s her sixth leader and 16th top 10-charted set. Miley (aka Miley Cyrus) last stopped the tally with Bangerz in 2013.<\/p>\n

\n\tBass Persuades was announced Sept. 1 and dropped on Sept. 18. Its title track and first single was unveiled on Sept. 3. It debuted at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Sept. 19), marking her 24th top 40 hit. The new set comes a little more than a year after her last studio project, Something Beautiful, which debuted and peaked at No. 4 on the June 14, 2025-dated Billboard 200<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso in the top 10 of the latest Billboard 200, Riley Green and beabadoobee score their first top 10s as their newest projects debut.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 2,500 ad-supported or 1,000 paid\/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new Oct. 3, 2026-dated chart will be posted in full on\u00a0Billboard\u2018s website on Sept. 29. \n\tOf Bass Persuades\u2019 61,000 first-week equivalent album units, album sales comprise 47,000 (it debuts at No. 1 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 14,000 (equaling 14.22 million on-demand official streams of the set\u2019s songs) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum. The set\u2019s first-week sales were bolstered by its availability across 16 vinyl variants (one with a bonus track), nine CD variants (one with a bonus track), six download variants (most with bonus tracks) and a cassette.<\/p>\n

\n\tMiley last topped the Billboard 200 in October 2013 with Bangerz. Her six No. 1s and 16 top 10s encompass her work billed as Miley and Miley Cyrus, alongside her soundtrack albums as Disney character Hannah Montana.<\/p>\n

\n\tMiley is the third act in 2026 to wait at least 10 years for their latest No. 1, following Bruno Mars and A$AP Rocky. Mars returned to No. 1 on the March 14 chart with the debut of The Romantic, 13 years after he was last on top with Unorthodox Jukebox in March 2013. A$AP Rocky debuted at No. 1 on the Jan. 31-dated chart with Don\u2019t Be Dumb, a little more than 10 years and six months after he was last No. 1, with At.Long.Last.A$AP in June 2015.<\/p>\n

\n\tElla Langley\u2019s chart-topping Dandelion holds at No. 2 on the latest Billboard 200 with nearly 61,000 equivalent album units (up 1%).<\/p>\n

\n\tRiley Green gets his first top 10 on the Billboard 200 as That\u2019s Just Me debuts at No. 3. It launches with 60,000 equivalent album units earned (his best week by units). Of that sum, album sales comprise 29,000 (his best sales week; it debuts at No. 2 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 30,000 (equaling 30.89 million on-demand official streams of the set\u2019s songs, it debuts at No. 10 on Top Streaming Albums), and TEA units comprise 1,000. The album\u2019s first-week sales were boosted by its availability across 13 vinyl and CD variants (some with bonus tracks), two download editions (one with a bonus track) and a cassette.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new full-length studio project was preceded by the single \u201cThink as You Drunk,\u201d which holds at its No. 11 high on the latest Country Airplay chart. That\u2019s Just Me follows the country singer-songwriter\u2019s last full-length set, Don\u2019t Mind If I Do, which debuted and peaked at No. 25 in 2024 and has spent 99 weeks on the list. The latter spun off three top-two hits on the Country Airplay chart, including the No. 1s \u201cWorst Way\u201d and \u201cDon\u2019t Mind If Do,\u201d both of which reached the top 25 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n

\n\tA trio of former No. 1s follow Green on the latest Billboard 200. Morgan Wallen\u2019s I\u2019m the Problem is steady at No. 4 (58,000 equivalent album units, up 1%), Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love falls 3-5 (55,000, down 8%) and Noah Kahan\u2019s The Great Divide dips 5-6 (46,000, up less than 1%).<\/p>\n

\n\tBeabadoobee nabs her first top 10-charted project as Pylon arrives at No. 7 with 35,000 equivalent album units (her best week by units). Of that sum, album sales comprise 25,000 (her best sales week; it debuts at No. 3 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 10,000 (equaling 10.79 million on-demand official streams) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum. First-week sales were aided by the album\u2019s availability across 10 vinyl variants (including signed editions), three CD variants (including a signed edition), two cassettes and a download.<\/p>\n

\n\tRounding out the rest of the top 10 on the latest Billboard 200: Jhen\u00e9 Aiko\u2019s Westside Whimsy falls 1-8 in its second week with 35,000 equivalent album units earned (down 53%), Drake\u2019s former leader ICEMAN drops 6-9 (nearly 35,000 units, down 2%) and Kahan\u2019s Stick Season is steady at No. 10 (34,000, up 3%).<\/p>\n
