Deadline<\/a> reports Lily Gladstone (Killers Of The Flower Moon) and Kiowa Gordon (Blood Quantum) are attached to star in The Curse of Silver, a horror-western co-directed by Geoff Marslett (Quantum Cowboys) with Gordon, himself. Based on a script Marslett co-wrote with Rafael A. Ruiz, the story is set on the \u201clawless Texas-Mexico border in the aftermath of the Civil War,\u201d and follows \u201ctwo Union deserters who drag a cursed chest of Confederate silver into a besieged town, unwittingly unleashing supernatural violence.\u201d<\/p>\n They Follow <\/p>\n According to Deadline<\/a>, James Jordan (Landman) has joined the cast of They Follow in an undisclosed role.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t Breathe 3 <\/p>\n During a recent Q&A at Beyond Fest (via Bloody-Disgusting<\/a>), Fede Alvarez confirmed \u201cthere\u2019s a screenplay for Don\u2019t Breathe 3,\u201d with both Stephen Lang and Jane Levy attached to return should the project move forward.<\/p>\n Giant Void <\/p>\n Deadline<\/a> also has word The Blair Witch Project\u2018s Eduardo S\u00e1nchez and Daniel Myrick have boarded director Michael Reisinger\u2019s indie sci-fi movie, Giant Void, as producers. Starring Molly Burnett (Law & Order: SVU), Elaine Hendrix, Shahjehan Khan, and Karl Glusman, the story follows Chloe (Burnett), \u201ca brilliant but isolated computer scientist whose potentially world-changing software uncovers hidden connections she was never meant to find. As she grows closer to a new co-worker (Glusman), the discovery forces her to question the nature of human connection, reality and humanity\u2019s place in the universe.\u201d<\/p>\n The Crying Boy <\/p>\n Deadline<\/a> additionally reports a film adaptation of Niall O\u2019Rourke and Rob Moran\u2019s Keenspot<\/a> comic, The Crying Boy, is now in development from producer Carter Swan. Written for the screen by Rona Mark, the story concerns \u201ca grieving widow trying to rebuild her life in Queens after the violent death of her husband. Things take a turn for the worse when she must save her young son from an even more terrifying fate, when the haunting painting of a crying child that he eerily befriends proves to be the vessel for an ancient demon that has preyed on children for millennia.\u201d<\/p>\n Happy Death Day 3 <\/p>\n In a recent Reddit AMA<\/a> promoting her giant snake movie, Beware Boi\u00fana (see below), Jessica Rothe revealed the working title of the third Happy Death Day movie is Happy Death Day Tree.<\/p>\n All I can really say is that Chris [Landon] and I are going to keep pushing to bring it to you. He and I have come up with a story that is so filled with scares, heart, and laughs (and so Tree). We love how much all of you love her and want to do right by her. Described as a \u201cmind-bending horror thriller,\u201d the story concerns ex-con Daniel West (Hardy) after he \u201creceives a mysterious letter promising answers about his past and a substantial inheritance in the small town of Stillwater.\u201d Upon his arrival, \u201che discovers a community where nothing ever ages, no one ever dies, and nobody ever gets out.\u201d<\/p>\n Carrie <\/p>\n Finally, Mike Flanagan revealed to Collider<\/a> he hopes his TV series based on Stephen King\u2019s Carrie runs an additional two seasons, suggesting he has additional story ideas<\/a> extending far past the original novel.<\/p>\n In my dream scenario\u2026I think it\u2019s three seasons.
