BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – For the first time in its history, the Capitol Theatre hosted a sitting governor Tuesday evening as Governor Andy Beshear visited Bowling Green on his latest book tour stop.<\/p>\n
Beshear met with community members to discuss his debut book, \u201cGo and Do Likewise.\u201d The book explores his faith, his time leading the commonwealth, and his philosophy of compassionate politics.<\/p>\n
During his remarks, Beshear stressed unity across the American political landscape and urged Kentuckians to make their voices heard at the ballot box this November.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf we would just spend 80% of our time on things that matter to 100% of people, the idea that if we improve in any of those areas, we lift everyone up and we leave no one out, we get a lot more done,\u201d Beshear said.<\/p>\n
