Tuttosport reports that Juventus, Inter and some Premier League clubs have already made preliminary approaches for Cagliari and Italy youngster Alessandro Romano.<\/p>\n

Cagliari midfielder Romano is being regarded as the next big thing in Italian football and has already attracted interest from several clubs, according to sources in Italy.<\/p>\n

Tuttosport<\/a> provides the latest updates on the 20-year-old midfielder who joined Cagliari on loan with an obligation to buy from Roma last summer.<\/p>\n

According to the report, Juventus director Frederic Massara is on good terms with the player\u2019s entourage and Cagliari, and so is Inter.<\/p>\n

Bianconeri and Nerazzurri have been monitoring the 20-year-old for several weeks now, and the defending Serie A champions see him as a potential replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu, who has less than a year left on his contract at San Siro.<\/p>\n

According to the report, some Premier League clubs \u201chave already moved\u201d to sign Romano, with Cagliari receiving preliminary approaches from England.<\/p>\n

Romano made his senior Italy debut as a starter against Belgium last Friday and made\u00a0his second international appearance as a substitute against Turkiye this past Monday.<\/a><\/p>\n

He previously represented Switzerland at the U21 level. Romano has scored one goal in seven appearances across all competitions with Cagliari so far this season.<\/p>\n
