Symbiosis Pharmaceutical Services<\/a> has expanded its commercial organization with the appointment of three new team members as the aseptic fill-finish CDMO accelerates its international growth strategy.<\/p>\n

The company has named Payal Roychoudhury and Joaqu\u00edn P\u00e9rez Fornieles to business development roles supporting expansion across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Southern Europe, respectively. Annie Shafran has also joined the company as Inside Sales Manager.<\/p>\n

The hires come as the Scotland-based CDMO targets growth in key international markets amid increasing demand for specialized manufacturing services for biologics and injectable therapies.<\/p>\n

\u201cPayal and Joaqu\u00edn will help us build relationships in priority international markets, while Annie\u2019s new role will strengthen the support we provide from the first client enquiry,\u201d said Joanne Anderson, Chief Commercial Officer at Symbiosis. \u201cTogether, they will help more drug developers access the manufacturing capacity and expertise we have invested strongly in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roychoudhury, based in Glasgow, will oversee business development activities across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. She brings more than 15 years of experience spanning pharmaceutical, biotechnology and advanced therapy sectors, having held scientific, technical and commercial positions at companies including AstraZeneca, Lonza and Thermo Fisher Scientific.<\/p>\n

P\u00e9rez Fornieles, based in M\u00e1laga, Spain, joins with a decade of CDMO industry experience. Most recently, he served as sales manager for commercial products at Carbogen AMCIS and will be responsible for Southern Europe while supporting broader European markets.<\/p>\n

Shafran, who is based in Manchester, joins from LGC, where she worked as a key account manager. In her new role, she will manage incoming client inquiries and support early-stage engagement with prospective customers.<\/p>\n

The appointments follow the recent additions of Jay Chima as vice president of business development<\/a> and Jos Vergeest as senior business development director<\/a>.
