Ray J has reportedly been rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency mid-livestream. <\/p>\n
According to TMZ<\/a>, the R&B singer was streaming from Fab Factory when health issues arose \u2014 and his mother, Sonja Norwood, was on the livestream with him.<\/p>\n An ambulance and the fire department were called, and he was taken to a nearby hospital for heart-related issues, sources told the outlet.<\/p>\n In video from the livestream, Ray J (real name: William Ray Norwood Jr.) was seen being loaded into an ambulance on a gurney.<\/p>\n Ray J (real name: William Ray Norwood Jr.), seen above in 2025, was rushed to the hospital amid a livestream. Getty Images for EightState Studios<\/p>\n Paramedics can also be seen caring for the influencer \u2014 who had medical equipment attached to his shirtless chest \u2014 amid the commotion.<\/p>\n The outlet reported that the call for an ambulance was \u201cstrictly medical,\u201d and noted that sources said \u201cthere was nothing unusual or suspicious going on.\u201d<\/p>\n The TV personality, 45, is currently in the midst of a 180-day streaming subathon he dubbed Rayhab.<\/p>\n According to the outlet, Norwood had been \u201cstaying up for long stretches while streaming.\u201d <\/p>\n Ray J, pictured here in 2009, was accompanied by his mother, Sonja Norwood, during the livestream.
