Maypro, founded in 1977 by Japanese entrepreneur Steve Yamada in New York, is expected to progressively roll out the product across global markets, primarily in North America, for use in supplements and health foods. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">This marks the Asahi Group Foods\u2019 first-time selling LNDP outside the Asahi group and to international markets. A milk peptide consisting of 19 amino acids, which was discovered in milk fermented with lactic acid bacteria, the ingredient has been reported to help maintain attention and cognitive functions that support efficiency of calculation tasks, and it is used as an ingredient in supplements and beverages sold by the Asahi Group in Japan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">Spanish ingredient supplier Bioiberica partnered with Ryusendo Co. to distribute its Collavant n2 native (undenatured) type II collagen joint-health ingredient to the Japanese market.
