Padraig Harrington is currently tied-36th on six-under after carding a five-under par round of 67 in his second round in Kingsbarns at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.<\/p>\n
Having opened with a fine 71 at Carnoustie – the site of his famous 2007 Open Championship triumph – Harrington rolled in a total of seven birdies with just two dropped strokes at the modern links at Kingsbarns, which lies just six miles south of the Old Course.<\/p>\n
The 55-year old Dubliner is a two-time winner of the event, having won it in 2002 and 2006, the latter title coming en route to his sole Order of Merit title on the European Tour.<\/p>\n
In a congested field, Harrington lies five strokes adrift of the leader, Casey Jarvis of South Africa, who birdied the 18th late in the day to reach 11-under par, one stroke clear of a trio of players, including his compatriot MJ Daffue, as well as Matthew Jordan of England and Rocco Repetto Taylor of Spain.<\/p>\n
Another quartet of players sit two off the lead at nine under par, the most prominent being Niklas Norgaard of Norway.<\/p>\n
