Louisville basketball<\/a> is expected to have one of its best seasons since the 2013 NCAA Title run, and the Cardinals are starting to get the recognition they deserve. College Basketball analyst Terrence Oglesby<\/a>\u00a0just predicted Louisville to win their first ACC Title.<\/p>\n

Oglesby put the Cardinals over the Duke Blue Devils, which is considered a hot take considering that Duke is the favorite to win the ACC and has one of the best odds to win the National Title. Duke has the best incoming freshman class, but Oglesby likes the Cardinals’ experience and backcourt more and trusts Pat Kelsey’s offseason a bit more.<\/p>\n

Louisville football’s CFP hype train hits an all-time high<\/p>\n

Louisville football’s<\/a> 2025 season is just a couple of weeks away, and the Cardinals fans are buzzing with excitement. The Cardinals are emerging as one of the top sleeper picks to crash the College Football Playoff party after Josh Pate and Danny Kanell both praised the Cardinals.<\/p>\n

Pate revealed that Louisville is one of his top dark horses to make the College Football Playoffs and was one of the first experts to say this publicly. The college football expert stated he is much higher on transfer Miller Moss than most experts, and it wouldn’t shock him if they are a 10-win team.<\/p>\n

Shortly after that, several experts came out and agreed with Pate and were saying the same thing. However, Kanell went so far as to put Louisville as his No. 9 seed in his 2025 College Football Playoff prediction.<\/p>\n

Predicting Louisville football’s record<\/p>\n

The Louisville Cardinals have a legitimate shot at making their second ACC Championship game, but to do so, they must be able to survive their gauntlet of a schedule. The Cardinals will have to face Pitt, Miami, Virginia Tech, and SMU. They also have to host Clemson at home. <\/p>\n
