\n President Donald Trump on Sunday announced the leadership and duties of a \u201cSuper Intelligence Force,\u201d which he said will \u201censure that America continues to lead the world\u201d when it comes to artificial intelligence.\n <\/p>\n
\n The president said in his announcement on Truth Social that the task force will \u201cprotect the interests\u201d and \u201cimprove the lives\u201d of Americans. He said it will coordinate the government\u2019s engagement with consumers, public interest groups, religious organizations, infrastructure providers and AI companies.\n <\/p>\n
\n The group will be led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton, Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission Andrew Ferguson, Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Emil Michael, and Director of the Office of Personnel Management Scott Kupor. The task force will report to Trump and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, the president said.\n <\/p>\n
