Rob Lowe\u2019s youngest son, John Owen, shared a moving poem about hope after his teen cousin Fiona died by suicide<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, the 30-year-old took to his Instagram Stories to share Emily Dickinson\u2019s poem \u201cHope Is the Thing With Feathers.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHOPE is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul, and sings the tune without the words, and never stops at all,\u201d the poem reads. <\/p>\n

The TV writer shared Emily Dickinson\u2019s poem \u201cHope Is the Thing With Feathers\u201d to his Instagram Stories over the weekend. johnnylowe\/Instagram<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd sweetest in the gale is heard; and sore must be the storm that could abash the little bird that kept so many warm,\u201d it continues.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve heard it in the chillest land, and on the strangest sea; yet, never, in extremity, it asked a crumb of me.\u201d<\/p>\n

John Owen\u2019s post came days after his little cousin Fiona passed away at the hospital<\/a> last Tuesday. She was 13.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance,\u201d her family shared in a statement to Page Six at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n

The family also urged people to reach out to the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline if they are \u201cstruggling with mental health.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fiona was the middle child<\/a> of actor Chad Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter. The couple also shares daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.<\/p>\n

Fiona\u2019s older sister, Mabel (seen above with her siblings and her parents in 2023), said she will \u201chonor [Fiona] forever and keep [her] memory alive.\u201d Chad Lowe\/Instagram<\/p>\n

Following Fiona\u2019s death, Mabel shared a heartbreaking Instagram post <\/a>about her late sister.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love you so much fiona \u2764\ufe0f i wish your short time here was easier and i hope your mind is at ease now,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, i hope you knew just how much,\u201d the teen added.<\/p>\n
