We’ve also been working to improve the transcription accuracy of our public safety radio monitor and broaden the set of local outlets across the region whose reporting we monitor and link to.

ARLnow has sought to make our internal tools available in various ways for readers. For instance, our neighborhood map tool is publicly available online, a curated version of our scanner feed is available in our mobile app, and we’re planning to add a regional feed (similar to our WSHnow site) to the next version of the app.

Around Town Published October 5, 2026 at 2:30PM | Updated October 5, 2026 at 4:15PM ARLnow app and…

[41
31807,19377,165,74
post-872053","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mobile","tag-announcement","tag-around-town","tag-mobile","tag-technology
["GET
