Right on time, another batch of PS Plus Essential<\/a> games have been added to Sony\u2019s service, which are yours to claim and keep for as long as you remain a member.<\/p>\n

October 2026\u2019s selection includes sim racing, acclaimed multiplayer action, and some unorthodox voxel-based gunplay \u2013 an eclectic mix, to say the least.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, here\u2019s what\u2019s on offer this month:<\/p>\n

As a note, these games are available now in the UK, but may take a few more hours to appear in the US. Sit tight if you\u2019re across the pond.<\/p>\n

In addition, remember, you\u2019ll have until 2nd November to claim these games, so don\u2019t forget to add them to your catalogue. You may as well!<\/p>\n

Our regularly scheduled poll<\/a> determined you\u2019re not all that enamoured with this month\u2019s list, with a whopping 58% of you describing the selection as \u201ccrap\u201d. Oof, tough crowd.<\/p>\n

Of the available games, 10% of you said you wanted to play F1 25 the most, although an enormous 76% of you said you weren\u2019t looking forward to any of them.<\/p>\n

I must admit, I\u2019m probably not going to bother with this month\u2019s lineup either, especially when there\u2019s so much else to play on the PS5 right now. I might give F1 25 a little look at some point in the future \u2013 maybe.<\/p>\n
