{"id":874565,"date":"2026-10-08T01:00:20","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T01:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/874565\/"},"modified":"2026-10-08T01:00:20","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T01:00:20","slug":"eli-manning-selfishly-wants-arch-to-be-drafted-by-jets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/874565\/","title":{"rendered":"Eli Manning &#8216;selfishly&#8217; wants Arch to be drafted by Jets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eli Manning wants to be close to his nephew.<\/p>\n<p>The two-time Super Bowl champion joined <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PardonMyTake\/status\/2107742902096937103\" rel=\"nofollow\">Barstool\u2019s \u201cPardon My Take\u201d<\/a> podcast this week and was asked where he might want Arch Manning to end up should he enter the 2027 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s two ways I look at this,\u201d Manning said. \u201cFor purely selfish reasons, I wouldn\u2019t mind if he went to the Jets, just because I live right there, I could go to games, I could have dinner with him during the week a little bit. Corey Sipkin for the NY POST<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou root for family,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m gonna root for my nephew to win every single game that he plays in, and that\u2019s just the way it is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Should Arch indeed become a Jet, he\u2019ll be even closer to the advice of Uncle Eli, which he said he offers here and there while trying not to be overbearing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf there\u2019s advice he\u2019s looking for, he knows I\u2019m a text away or a call away,\u201d Eli said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Eli Manning wants to be close to his nephew.
