He currently plays for RCD Mallorca in the second division, having gone through spells at Paris Saint-Germain and Villarreal. Mostly a backup with those latter clubs, he has become a standout at Mallorca, keeping six clean sheets in eight starts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">In a new interview on <a href=\"https:\/\/cadenaser.com\/nacional\/2026\/10\/06\/arnau-tenas-volver-al-barca-algun-dia-si-te-dijera-que-no-te-estaria-enganando-cadena-ser\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Catalan radio<\/a>, Tenas said he was \u201cvery happy in Mallorca\u201d and his mission now is to \u201cto take Mallorca where it deserves to be\u2014that is, in the First Division.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Having previously played in Ligue 1 in France and La Liga in Spain, both top divisions, going to the second division could be seen as the wrong move. Tenas disagreed, saying, \u201cPeople have a lot of prejudices, but for me, it\u2019s not a step backward\u2014it\u2019s a huge step forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Despite his satisfaction at his current club, Tenas admitted, \u201cIf I said I wouldn\u2019t want to return to Bar\u00e7a, I\u2019d be lying; it would be like coming home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">During his time at La Masia and the B team, Tenas played alongside current Bar\u00e7a stars like Gavi, Pau Cubars\u00ed, Xavi Espart, and Eric Garcia. He also played alongside Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 at PSG. \u201cHe is a very good teammate, personable, and trained well,\u201d Tenas said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Speaking about the current team at Barcelona, Tenas singled out Brazilian star Raphinha.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cI\u2019m really happy for Raphinha. Really happy for him,\u201d he said. \u201cSome people don\u2019t see everything going on behind the scenes, and there were times when he was really struggling. What is he doing this season so far? What\u2019s gotten into him? It\u2019s incredible.
