VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) \u2013\u00a0 Valley City Parks and Recreation is excited to invite the community to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Gaukler Family Wellness Center on Thursday, October 15th. For the entire day, the Gaukler Family Wellness Center will open its doors to the community with free use of the facility for everyone \u2014 no membership required! Whether you have been a member for years, have never stepped foot inside, or simply want to see what the Wellness Center has to offer, October 15th is the perfect opportunity to stop in and celebrate.<\/p>\n
Community members are invited to try out the gym, fitness center, pool, fitness classes, and playground throughout the day. Cookies and coffee will also be available as a small thank-you to the community for helping make the Gaukler Family Wellness Center what it is today.<\/p>\n
Since opening its doors in 2016, the Gaukler Family Wellness Center has become a gathering place for people of all ages and abilities. From early-morning workouts and weekly coffee meetups to youth programs, tournaments, fitness classes, events, birthday parties, and everything in between, the facility has played an important role in helping the community stay active, healthy, and connected.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe can\u2019t believe it\u2019s already been 10 years since the Gaukler Family Wellness Center opened its doors,\u201d says Tyler Jacobson, VCPR Executive Director. \u201cIn those 10 years, we\u2019ve seen so many people make this facility part of their daily lives, whether it\u2019s coming in for a workout, swimming laps, doing the Turkey Duathlon, or enjoying coffee on Wednesdays together. We\u2019re grateful for the community\u2019s support over the past decade, and we\u2019re excited to celebrate this milestone together.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Gaukler Family Wellness Center\u2019s 10th anniversary celebration will take place all day Thursday, October 15th, with free facility use for the entire community. No membership is required.<\/p>\n
