Travis Barker has revealed what led to his recent hospitalization, just one day after sharing photos from his hospital bed<\/a> that left fans concerned.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had surgery yesterday,\u201d the Blink-182 drummer wrote via his Instagram Stories<\/a> Wednesday. \u201cMy arm, hand and fingers have been numb since a show I played last month.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barker, 50, noted that he underwent a nerve test on Monday after his show, which revealed he \u201cneeded a cubital tunnel release\u201d to fix it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to get ahead of it and get it over with so that I can keep playing the way I play for a long, long time \ud83e\udd41,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

Barker added that he \u201cshould be good in a few weeks \ud83d\udcaa\ud83c\udfc1.\u201d<\/p>\n

The drummer shared the update alongside a selfie taken by his wife, Kourtney Kardashian<\/a>. Barker appeared in a hospital gown and surgical cap as Kardashian, 47, smiled beside him.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I\u2019m] not sure why my wife looks so happy about this \ud83d\ude02,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n

The update comes one day after Barker shared photos from his hospital bed<\/a> via Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n

In the first pic, Barked posed for a selfie with daughter Alabama, 20, while dressed in a medical gown and surgical cap.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy baby girl came with me \ud83d\udda4,\u201d he captioned the snap.<\/p>\n

He also shared a photo of Kardashian kissing him, writing, \u201cAnd my beautiful wife by my side \ud83d\udda4.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barker sparked concern amongst fans on Tuesday after sharing a selfie with daughter Alabama while sitting in a hospital bed, captioning the photo, \u201cMy baby girl came with me.\u201d travisbarker\/instagram<\/p>\n

He also shared a photo of Kardashian kissing him, writing, \u201cAnd my beautiful wife by my side.\u201d travisbarker\/instagram<\/p>\n

The drummer has dealt with hand injuries before.<\/p>\n

In 2023, just before Blink-182 launched their reunion tour, Barker dislocated the ring finger on his left hand<\/a> while rehearsing with the band.<\/p>\n

At the time, he shared a black-and-white photo of the injured finger to his Instagram Stories, captioning it, \u201cF\u2013k.\u201d<\/p>\n

He later revealed that he had spent an entire afternoon at a doctor\u2019s office, where he received a scan and an injection to ease the pain.<\/p>\n

The following day, Barker offered fans an explanation on Twitter, writing, \u201cI was playing the drums at rehearsals yesterday, and I smashed my finger so hard, I dislocated it and tore the ligaments \ud83e\udd2c.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barker was also hospitalized in 2022<\/a> after developing \u201csevere, life-threatening pancreatitis\u201d following an endoscopy.<\/p>\n

He later addressed the hospitalization<\/a> on his Instagram Stories, writing, \u201cI went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said a \u201csmall polyp\u201d was removed during the procedure, but the removal \u201cdamaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so very, very grateful that with intensive treatment, I am currently much better,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n
