In September, for example, Minions creator and Despicable Me filmmaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/pierre-coffin\/\" id=\"auto-tag_pierre-coffin_1\" data-tag=\"pierre-coffin\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pierre Coffin<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/pierre-coffin-minions-creator-despicable-me-signs-wme-1236707637\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">signed with WME<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMann\u2019s last movie was Inside Out 2, one of the biggest critical and commercial successes of 2024. It earned a 98 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes and grossed $1.7 billion worldwide, earning him an Academy Award nomination for best animated feature while setting the record for the highest-grossing directorial debut in film history.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tA storyboard artist who earned his stripes on Cartoon Network, Warner Bros., and Lucasfilm Animation shows, Mann joined in Pixar in 2009, serving as story supervisor on Monsters University, The Good Dinosaur, which he also co-wrote, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/onward\/\" id=\"auto-tag_onward_1\" data-tag=\"onward\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Onward<\/a>. He also contributed to Pixar\u2019s senior creative team across recent hits including Toy Story 5, Hoppers, Elemental, and Turning Red.
