With New York Comic Con 2026 now underway, a number of prominent actors, especially those in Marvel projects, are making the rounds on red carpets and stage events over the next few days. With a new Daredevil series on the horizon, it\u2019s no surprise Charlie Cox is one of those actors. What was surprising was the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33<\/a> voice actor\u2019s tease for a mystery Sega game he\u2019s already recorded a ton of dialogue for.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Cox shared that he would be starring in more gaming projects following his experience on last year\u2019s award winning RPG. Speaking to IGN<\/a> at NYCC, Cox confirmed he had been working on a new, unspecified Sega game. The role appears to be a major one, too, and one that required the Daredevil actor to put on an American accent without much prior preparation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had to do 40 hours or whatever it was, and I showed up for the first day, and I was like, \u2018Hi guys, nice to meet you! How are you?\u201d he recalled in the interview. \u201cAnd all of them went, \u2018\u2026oh, he\u2019s English.\u2019 They\u2019d wanted him to be American. But now I\u2019ve got to do 40 hours of lines I\u2019ve not prepared in an accent.\u201d<\/p>\n

With these scant few details, fans on social media have already begun to speculate<\/a>. The most obvious possibility coming to mind for many is Persona 6. With a need to record so many lines and the game\u2019s recent official teases over the summer, some fans are hoping the actor will play a part in the latest entry in Atlus\u2019 mega-hit JRPG series. That being said, there\u2019s also the possibility that the game in question has not even been announced yet, and with Cox even saying that the game \u201cdoesn\u2019t have a name yet,\u201d that could well be the case.<\/p>\n

Having won a number of awards for his stellar performance as Gustave in Expedition 33, it\u2019s nice to know Cox will be back in another major gaming project in the near future. Whatever that ends up being.<\/p>\n
