{"id":877112,"date":"2026-10-10T05:10:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-10T05:10:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/877112\/"},"modified":"2026-10-10T05:10:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-10T05:10:09","slug":"bts-rm-urges-fans-to-stop-hotel-gatherings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/877112\/","title":{"rendered":"BTS RM urges fans to stop hotel gatherings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text-primary article-summary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SEOUL \u2013 BTS leader RM has urged fans to stop gathering outside the K-pop boy band\u2019s hotels during<a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/life\/entertainment\/bts-launches-south-american-leg-of-arirang-tour-in-colombia?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\"> their ongoing Arirang world tour.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The 32-year-old rapper said the crowds are disrupting members\u2019 sleep, making life difficult for staff and disturbing other guests.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">RM made the appeal on fan community platform Weverse on Oct 8 while BTS were staying in Lima, Peru, where they are performing on Oct 7, 9 and 10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">\u201cMembers and staff are having a really hard time because of people staying outside our hotel all day,\u201d he wrote. \u201cIt\u2019s so noisy that we can hear it inside our rooms, and everyone is having trouble sleeping.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">RM, whose real name is\u00a0Kim\u00a0Nam-joon, also expressed concern about the inconvenience to other hotel guests.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">He urged fans not to wait outside the band\u2019s accommodations at their upcoming tour stops in Chile, Brazil and Argentina, as well as during their Asian leg later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">BTS will kick off their Asian tour in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on Nov 19 and will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/life\/entertainment\/tickets-to-bts-4-national-stadium-concerts-in-december-go-on-sale-june-3?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\">perform in Singapore<\/a> for four nights from Dec 17 to 22.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">\u201cWe appreciate the warm welcome and enthusiasm, but if we can\u2019t get enough rest and sleep, it will affect the performances we share with you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">His appeal follows similar requests from fellow BTS members over repeated intrusions into their privacy during the tour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">In July, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/life\/entertainment\/bts-v-asks-fans-to-respect-his-privacy-during-arirang-world-tour?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\">V asked fans on Weverse<\/a> to refrain from visiting the band\u2019s hotels, thanking them for their enthusiasm while stressing the need to keep the members\u2019 accommodations private.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">\u201cThere are things we don\u2019t want to share, including where we\u2019re staying, and it also affects our condition for performances,\u201d V wrote at the time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">In August, V and Jungkook also expressed discomfort after about 20 fans reportedly approached them at a hotel gym early one morning.
