YOKOHAMA, Japan \u2014 Adam Scott and Justin Thomas moved into contention at the PGA Tour\u2019s Baycurrent Classic<\/a> in Japan on Saturday, one stroke off the lead after three rounds at the Yokohama Country Club.<\/p>\n

Scott, looking for his first PGA Tour win in six years, shot a 6-under 65 which included two eagles and Thomas a 67. They were tied for fourth and set to tee off with Jordan Smith at 9:10 p.m. ET <\/a>on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

First-round leader Jacob Bridgeman <\/a>(69) was in a tie for the third-round lead with Michael Brennan (65) and Tour rookie Zach Bauchou (67) with 13-under 200 totals.<\/p>\n

It marks just the second time this season<\/a> that three players are tied for the lead following 54 holes. The first was the Scottish Open in July.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou got to be pleased with that and something like that tomorrow might be enough,\u201d Scott said of his 65. \u201cIt\u2019s not a bad spot to be a few back. Hopefully we\u2019ll be in for a great day.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Tour\u2019s lone stop in Asia features its strongest field of the FedEx Cup Fall series, with 13 of the 24 players who competed in the Presidents Cup two weeks ago<\/a> at Medinah in the Chicago suburbs.<\/p>\n

A total of sixteen players sit within five strokes of the lead heading into the final round outside of Tokyo. The best come-from-behind win this season<\/a> is five strokes.<\/p>\n
