That\u2019s the story for many NHL and NBA franchises this season<\/a>, as the ripple effects of the demise of Main Street Sports Group and FanDuel Sports Network continue to be felt.<\/p>\n For the Wild, it works like this<\/a>:<\/p>\n Wild+ will televise 67 games, the franchise\u2019s new local network. If you live within the team\u2019s local broadcast territory, Prime Video is the exclusive streaming distributor<\/a>. Wild+ will cost you $19.99\/month or $99.99\/year and is separate from a Prime membership. Fubo subscribers in the Wild\u2019s local market also get Wild+ as an alternative.<\/p>\n KSTP-TV will also broadcast 10 Wild+ games for free.<\/p>\n Beyond that, the team has 17 nationally televised games scheduled across ABC, ESPN, TNT, and ESPN+\/Disney+\/Hulu, so you\u2019ll need to sign up for cable<\/a> and\/or several streaming services to catch them all.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve heard of crazier subscription demands for die-hard completists<\/a>, but it\u2019s still a pain in the butt, especially for those used to finding games the old-fashioned way or who don\u2019t want to spend hundreds of dollars to watch their beloved hockey team.<\/p>\n Fox 9 KMSP\u2019s Lori Fisher, Justin Gaard, and Pierre Noujaim voiced those frustrations during a recent episode of the talk show Enough Said<\/a>, venting about how annoying the whole setup is as the Wild head out on the road.<\/p>\n @fox9mn<\/a>Watching the Wild shouldn\u2019t require a scavenger hunt through streaming subscriptions. Maybe Fox9 should [foot] the bill for that.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd if you\u2019re Amazon Prime members, that still doesn\u2019t mean you can watch,\u201d replied Gaard, a Fox 9 contributor and Minnesota Golden Gophers football sideline reporter and host. \u201cThat\u2019s the best part. So you\u2019re also paying $14,000 a year on Amazon stuff, and you still can\u2019t watch it. I know. [Timberwolves] are in the same boat.\u201d<\/p>\n Awful Announcing\u2019s Manny Soloway ranked every NFL franchise\u2019s local broadcast accessibility this season<\/a>, placing the Wild in the middle at No. 17.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Minnesota Wild don\u2019t have a lot going for them,\u201d Soloway wrote. \u201cThey have an extremely high 17 nationally televised games (the max is 18) and only two games over-the-air (their website says they have more local games planned). But the big problem is the Wild\u2019s current cable deal. They only have agreements with two cable providers: Spectrum and FuboTV. If you have any other cable carriers, you will have to spend $100 for the Wild\u2019s Prime Video direct-to-consumer add-on. A middle-of-the-road three streaming exclusives helps the team from moving higher on this list. Hopefully, better cable carriage and more over-the-air games are in the works, because the current situation for Wild fans is subpar.\u201d<\/p>\n The NBA\u2019s Timberwolves have a similar, though slightly less convoluted, setup, with games on DAZN<\/a>, KARE11, ESPN, NBC, Peacock, ABC, Prime Video, and NBA TV.<\/p>\n \t
