Yet coverage elsewhere continues to suggest the $2 billion project is merely on the drawing board, despite having nailed down a $1.2 billion construction loan a month ago.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.50146628;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"   data-modal-image=\"41282685\" width=\"886\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/343-madison-avenue-begun-go-144660971.jpg\" alt=\"Illustration of 343 Madison Avenue skyscraper amid surrounding buildings in New York City.\" class=\"wp-image-41282685\"\/>Construction of BXP\u2019s 46-story tower at 343 Madison Ave. is underway.  Volley Studio<\/p>\n<p>Marquee-name tenants have already been signed for about\u00a0half of the building\u2019s 930,000 square feet \u2014 insurance giant Starr and law firm McDermott Will &amp; Schulte.<\/p>\n<p>Rents are said to be in the $200 per square foot range. The tower is due for completion in 2029.
