Four others were injured.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Goliath riders were being evacuated four at a time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">TRENDING STORIES:<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The ride was stopped after the incident, which police said happened just before 4 p.m., with a set of its cars on the top of the ride.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">In a statement shared with Channel 2 Action News, Six Flags Over Georgia said:<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">We are deeply saddened by the guest incident at our park today. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the guest\u2019s family, friends, and loved ones. We are also providing support to the guests and team members affected. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The park team and local authorities responded immediately, and we are cooperating fully with local authorities as they complete their investigation. Out of respect for the family\u2019s privacy, we will not be sharing additional details at this time. <\/p>\n<p>\u2014 \u00a0Six Flags Entertainment Corporation spokesperson<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">After the death and Goliath evacuation, the City of Mableton, where SFOG is located, released a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident at Six Flags Over Georgia today. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the individual\u2019s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Mableton Public Safety Director Dr. Kerry Stallings is coordinating with Cobb County Police and park security as the situation is addressed.
