\n\tDonald Trump<\/a> has been vocal about a lot of things this week, including losing out on the Nobel Peace Prize again and his dislike of Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>. At a recent rally, the president describe Kimmel as a \u201closer\u201d because the late-night host commented on the empty seats at one of his events. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis loser, Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>,\u201d Trump told the crowd at the rally. \u201cWhat a loser. I had just left Texas or somewhere. The place is packed. And maybe it was Ohio. The place is packed.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tTrump then mimicked Kimmel, adding, \u201cHe said, \u2018Donald Trump had a sparsely attended [rally].\u2019 I said, \u2018Sparsely attended?\u2019 They had to walk thousands of people. They couldn\u2019t get into the arena. These guys are crooked people. They\u2019re losers.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDo I really sound like that?\u201d Kimmel replied. \u201cBe honest. Of all the things I said about him last week, of all the many moronic and criminal words and deeds I detailed, that\u2019s what bothers him? Me pointing out the fact that his rallies have empty seats? Well, in that case, let\u2019s do it again: There were many empty seats at the rally. So many empty seats. There were even empty seats at the rally where he complained about me saying he had empty seats at the rally.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel added, \u201cHe keeps claiming the reason there are empty seats in the back and the top is because people love him so much they make their way down to the front. Isn\u2019t that interesting that that never happens at a Lakers game? People just moving up to the front. But it does at an event controlled by the United States Secret Service. And, by the way, when I mentioned the sparse attendance at that rally, I didn\u2019t even show it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe host cut to a photo of a half-empty rally in Alabama. \u201cMuch like Trump\u2019s cognitive function, not at full capacity,\u201d Kimmel quipped. <\/p>\n

\n\tTrump and Kimmel have continuously exchanged barbs over the past few years. While hosting the Oscars in 2024, Kimmel read one of Trump\u2019s<\/a> Truth Social posts during the ceremony, quipping, \u201cThank you, President Trump. Thank you for watching, I\u2019m surprised you\u2019re still up \u2014 isn\u2019t it past your jail time?\u201d Trump later called Kimmel<\/a> a \u201cdope\u201d and \u201cone of the dumbest human beings ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLast year, Kimmel told Rolling Stone<\/a> he enjoys amping Trump up. \u201cI think most comedians have a strong sense of justice, and he violates that so frequently,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cI know we should be hardened to it by now, but I\u2019m not. It is shocking to me; it seems like a comic-book villain. He seems like the kind of character that would flame out after a few years, but the fact that he\u2019s still with us is remarkable. A year ago, I would\u2019ve said I\u2019m hoping to show people who aren\u2019t paying attention to the news what\u2019s actually going on, and hoping to change things that way.
